This section is devoted to all things concerning the second RUNNERS story arc, The Big Snow Job. Most likely there won't be too much discussion until the story actually starts posting around Sept 1, 2009. But feel free to get the ball rolling with some advance comments, if you'd like.

I've been debating whether to put up 5 preview pages for issue #3 as well at the above-mentioned link. There's a cool action scene that would be nice to preview, but then I think it would give some things away. Like Cember getting shot in the head and dying. Just kidding....or am I? I am. He dies from hypertension, not a shot to the head.
The pages wouldn't give away anything super-major to the storyline, but probably would kill some of the setup in issue #2. So maybe I'll find some other pages to post.
The new series is slated to start posting online in Sept 2009. Most likely it'll post at a rate of 3 pages a week, since I need to buffer in some time to finish the arc. I think that means the series should wrap up around Spring of 2010, so I imagine I'd be putting the graphic novel collection out at that point.
Interesting idea about making the online stuff B&W to give some incentive to buying a color print volume. I'm hoping color pages online will help make the series attractive to more people though, so I think my B&W days may be behind me. As for incentive to buy the print collection, I always throw in a lot of extra material, and I'm toying with the idea of putting in a new short story as well.

I ordered the first tpb and liked a it a lot. Hopefully one day this series will be successful enough that you can re-release the first tpb in color although the black and white with grey shading looks quite good too. I'm eagerly anticipating this second tpb volume in color. Any idea when it will be available to purchase?
When volume 2 is posted online will it also be in color? Considering you're posting it for free I wouldn't mind if it were in black and white online. It would give people just that added incentive to buy the color tpb.
